Teeling Distillery

Teeling helped lead the way for the new breed of Irish distilleries. When Jack and Stephen Teeling came to Dublin to start their operation in 2012, it had been 125 years since anyone built a distillery in the Liberties. The brothers look to capture the best of the past while injecting fresh energy into Irish whiskey. The result is an innovative distillery that uses a combination of styles, barrel aging, and finishing techniques to create interesting and inviting whiskeys.  

The tour begins with the story of Dublin’s whiskey past and how the industry fell on hard times. Then you quickly shift to an introduction to the brands, styles, and expressions that are bringing world recognition to the distillery and its spirits. A walk through the distillery provides insights into how they whiskey and the art of maturation. Because Teeling has been around for a while, your tasting will include some of the longest aged whiskeys produced by the new generation of distillers.
